Our 2nd Annual RISE OF THE SOUTH Competition will be held on September 13-14th, 2014. Last year, 200+ of the best athletes in the South competed at “RISE OF THE SOUTH” hosted by CrossFit Boro in Statesboro, GA. This year, we are changing the format from a 1-day competition to a 2-day competition due to the massive popularity last year. The 1st day will be an indivudual only day with both RX and Scaled athletes competing. Then, the 2nd day will switch to a team competition where 2 males and 2 females will try and prove their fitness in the RX and Scaled divisions. 4 events for individuals and 4 events for teams.
Statesboro, GA is almost as close as you can get to the center of the South East region as we are 3 hours south of Atlanta, GA; 2.5 hours west of Charleston, SC; and 3 hours north of Jacksonville, FL. At CrossFit Boro, we have one of the fastest growing boxes in the South growing to 200+ members in less than 11 months. This is partially due to the local university here (Georgia Southern University) and the other is due to the great community we have become a part of.
Fees for individuals will be $85 and Teams of 4 will be $325.00. Prices will go up on August 15th.
Last year we gave out over $4000 in cash and prizes to the winners.
